Why

This device measures your heart rate but can't share it live over Bluetooth on its own. A third-party app can bridge the gap, though it can be a little temperamental.

What to do

Older Suunto models can't broadcast — pair a Bluetooth heart-rate sensor directly with SENOS instead.

  1. Update your watch to the latest firmware in the Suunto app (version 2.53.42 or later).
  2. Turn on the Heart rate broadcast feature on the watch.
  3. In SENOS, choose 'Connect heart rate' and select your watch.

For a plug-and-play connection: Polar H10 chest strap (about £77) or COROS arm band (about £69).

Whatever you wear, you can always use SENOS with a Bluetooth heart-rate sensor — and most modern sensors can connect to SENOS and your watch at the same time.
