Privacy Policy

SENOS takes your privacy seriously. This page explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. We are GDPR compliant and we never sell your data.

Who we are

SENOSis a trading name of Effort Economy Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), the data controller for personal data processed via this website (senosapp.com) and the SENOSmobile application. Effort Economy Ltd is registered in England & Wales under company number 17244109, with its registered office at Sportsman Farm, St. Michaels, Tenterden, TN30 6SY. What we collect

  • Account data: email address, password hash, display name and profile preferences you set inside the app.
  • Workout and health data: heart rate readings, workout duration, time in zones, points and Credits earned. This is processed only to operate the rewards system.
  • Device data: the wearable or heart rate monitor you connect, app version and operating system, used to deliver and debug the service.
  • Marketing data: the email you submit on the waitlist, plus basic engagement metrics for emails we send.
  • Analytics data: anonymised usage events (page views, button clicks) used in aggregate to improve the product. No advertising trackers.

How we use it

  • To run the effort economy: convert your heart-rate data into points and Credits.
  • To deliver rewards and connect you with brand partners you choose to redeem with.
  • To keep the product safe, secure and free of fraud.
  • To send you transactional emails (waitlist updates, account notices) and, only if you opt in, marketing emails.

We never sell your personal data. We never sell your health data. We do not share your individual workout data with brand partners.

Legal basis (UK / EU)

We rely on the following lawful bases under UK GDPR and EU GDPR: contract (to provide the service you signed up for), legitimate interests (to improve and secure the service), consent (for marketing emails and any optional tracking) and legal obligation (to keep records the law requires us to keep).

How long we keep it

Account and workout data is kept while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we're required to retain limited records for legal or accounting reasons.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. You can also object to processing, ask us to restrict it, or request a copy in a portable format. In the UK and EU you have the right to complain to a supervisory authority (in the UK, the ICO).

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@senosapp.com. You can also delete your account and data from inside the SENOS app.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses a small number of essential cookies to remember your theme preference and to keep your session secure. We use privacy-respecting analytics to count page views and understand which pages are useful. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not run cross-site trackers.

Sub-processors

We use a small set of trusted vendors to run the service, including hosting, email delivery and authentication. Each is contractually bound to GDPR-equivalent terms and only processes data on our instructions.

Changes to this policy

When we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in-app notice before the change takes effect.
